Dr. Jane Homeyer, PhD

Co-founder of Visionations. As the FBI’s Academic Dean, led Director Mueller’s reengineering of Bureau training and the National Academy’s Forensic Science Training Program. Led the Northern Illinois Police Crime Laboratory to become the first nonprofit crime lab accredited by ASCLD/LAB. An advisor to EffectiveSC and its beneficiaries.

Lance Christmann

Co-founder and chief technology officer of Visionations, which developed CrimePad, investigation software. Previously co-founded EffectiveUI. An advisor to EffectiveSC and its beneficiaries.

Roger Forsgren

A former chief knowledge officer at NASA. An advisor to EffectiveSC and its beneficiaries.

How it is constituted.

EffectiveSC is a 501(c)(3) public charity, founded in 2009, registered in Golden, Colorado, and granted tax-exempt status in April 2010. Its EIN is 27-0901658, and its filings are public.

Behind them, a much larger room.

The bodies of work we hold carry their own communities. UX Magazine’s archive holds more than a thousand bylined writers, researchers, and operators across twenty-two years, and its community is over 1.2 million people. AI First Principles names forty-seven contributors, and was reviewed by a co-author of the Agile Manifesto.

When the work needs expertise we do not have, these are the rooms we ask in.
